UC Awards Student Leader Pin to Scott Kinard

The University of Charleston awarded the Student Leader Pin to eleven seniors at its annual recognition dinner. The award recognizes students who demonstrate exemplary skills as student leaders through their academic achievements, extra-curricular involvement, and service to the university. Scott Kinard, of Bridgeport, who majored in Public Policy and Communications was one of the seniors who received the prestigious award.

The University of Charleston is an independent, co-educational, residential college located in the heart of West Virginia, with approximately 1,500 students from 34 countries and 34 states. It is ranked #11 among regional colleges in the South, and is the top-ranked regional college in West Virginia, according to U.S. News & World Report.
